Manor Stables is a beautiful detached bungalow set in just under an acre of groounds. It can be found in the quiet village of Rippengale just off the A15 between Sleaford and Bourne. The gardens are made up of formal areas laid to lawn, a coppice and paddock; it is ideal for a quiet break or a horse riding holiday in picturesque Lincolnshire.
Converted into a private dwelling in 1987this used to be the stable block for Rippingale's Manor House. The property still retains many original features of the stables, including the hay feeders, troughs and stable doors.It comfortably sleeps 6 in one double and two twin rooms and all rooms have en-suite shower rooms. There is a good sized country kitchen, dining room for entertaining and a large living area with inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove, perfect for those cosy evenings in.
There is ample parking for at least 4 cars, a double garage and exlusive access to the secure paddock for horses and/or horseboxes. The Bull Inn is an award winning village pub only a minutes walk away, they offer fantasic traditional pub food or an a-la-carte menu for those special occasions.
The paddock has plenty of grazing for horses and has fresh water available, however despite the name there are no stable facilities at the moment but we aim to put them in soon. The paddock is secure to all sides with wooden fence and access directly from the property. In the area are plenty of bridleways for both intermediate and advanced rider. There are routes and maps available at the stables however it is recommended you do a little research before you arrive. We require prior notice if you intend to bring your horse as occasionally we have other livestock grazing. There are lots of walks in the area, some taking in local pubs.

Situated deep in the heart of the glorious unspoilt Hexam Shire, Embley offers over 900 acres of grass and moorland riding within its own boundaries and immediate access to a huge network of ancient bridleways, fell and forestry tracks. Embley has a wide range of equestrian facilituies including barn style stabling, cross country fences and an outside arena. But this is not a livery stable or riding school, and it will appeal to all those who enjoy the freedom of riding in a completely relaxed, positive and knowledgeable environment. The farm is a wonderful place to bring your own horse, or ride one of the owner's horses by prior arrangement. With stunning views as far as the distant Cheviots (on a clear day!) and equally beautiful both summer and winter, Embley is a haven for wildlife and a paradise for bird lovers with nesting buzzards, golden plover, blackcock and grouse among the more spectacular residents. You could even see a red kite or a tawny owl. Come for a day or a week. Bed and Breakfast is widely available at neighbouring farms, parking is easy and there are three different packs of foxhounds within easy reach during the season.

The Wern is a 4* B&B set in the middle of 25 acres in the Brecon Beacons National Park overlooking Llangorse Lake. The riding and scenery are spectacular. The riding varies from leafy bridleways, open hill, wide open commons and forestry. There are plenty of opportunities for good gallops, but you might miss out on the lovely views! We provide marked up maps and clear route notes for daily petal rides of varying distance, or our 4 day, 75 mile circular Loop, the Brecon Beacons and Radnor Loop, with overnight stay at other B&Bs. The guests’ accommodation is in our lovely restored, mid 18th century farmhouse but with all modern comfort. We provide 3 course evening meals all prepared from produce out of our extensive gardens, our own free range hens, lamb from our field and beef from our neighbour. We cater for vegetarians and try to offer them something different. Try Lucienne’s cooked Dutch Breakfast, a real feast and it will certainly set you up for the day! On return from your ride you can relax in our garden room or lounge, or on one of the terraces, or wonder round our garden, which we open under the National Garden Scheme. The ultimate luxury is also on offer in the form of a relaxing massage by a fully qualified sports injury therapist.
The horses are equally well looked after. We have several well-fenced paddocks with shelter and grazing to suit the requirements: lush for a hungry horse or short for a tubby one! Our sheep keep the fields clean and ‘cut’ the grass to the required length. We have a selection of large, airy stables with the smallest 12 x 12 and the largest 14 x 17. They either have Aubiose bedding (dust free) or top quality rubber matting. There is a large barn for tacking up and storage and ample parking for lorries or trailers. The whole yard is gated.

Shenberrow Farm is located on the site of an Iron Age Fort in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Cotswold Escarpment with stunning views overlooking the Vale of Evesham and the Malvern Hills.
