Manor Stables is a beautiful detached bungalow set in just under an acre of groounds. It can be found in the quiet village of Rippengale just off the A15 between Sleaford and Bourne. The gardens are made up of formal areas laid to lawn, a coppice and paddock; it is ideal for a quiet break or a horse riding holiday in picturesque Lincolnshire. Converted into a private dwelling in 1987this used to be the stable block for Rippingale's Manor House. The property still retains many original features of the stables, including the hay feeders, troughs and stable doors.It comfortably sleeps 6 in one double and two twin rooms and all rooms have en-suite shower rooms. There is a good sized country kitchen, dining room for entertaining and a large living area with inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove, perfect for those cosy evenings in. There is ample parking for at least 4 cars, a double garage and exlusive access to the secure paddock for horses and/or horseboxes. The Bull Inn is an award winning village pub only a minutes walk away, they offer fantasic traditional pub food or an a-la-carte menu for those special occasions. The paddock has plenty of grazing for horses and has fresh water available, however despite the name there are no stable facilities at the moment but we aim to put them in soon. The paddock is secure to all sides with wooden fence and access directly from the property. In the area are plenty of bridleways for both intermediate and advanced rider. There are routes and maps available at the stables however it is recommended you do a little research before you arrive. We require prior notice if you intend to bring your horse as occasionally we have other livestock grazing. There are lots of walks in the area, some taking in local pubs. Contact Chris Worth

Situated deep in the heart of the glorious unspoilt Hexam Shire, Embley offers over 900 acres of grass and moorland riding within its own boundaries and immediate access to a huge network of ancient bridleways, fell and forestry tracks. The Wern is a 4* B&B set in the middle of 25 acres in the Brecon Beacons National Park overlooking Llangorse Lake. The riding and scenery are spectacular. The riding varies from leafy bridleways, open hill, wide open commons and forestry. There are plenty of opportunities for good gallops, but you might miss out on the lovely views! We provide marked up maps and clear route notes for daily petal rides of varying distance, or our 4 day, 75 mile circular Loop, the Brecon Beacons and Radnor Loop, with overnight stay at other B&Bs.
