Ledard Farm

Ledard Farm, home of the Scottish Sheepdog School, is located in the stunning surroundings of the Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. The farm looks onto Ben Lomond, Loch Ard and the 25,000 acre Queen Elizabeth Forest and its network of forest roads and tracks for outriding.

For the horses - 14 loose boxes, 35 acres of mixed grazing in five paddocks, including a stunning 12-acre park adjacent to the loch where horses can be swum. All paddocks are rylock fenced. Feedstore and secure tackroom.

For the people - Four light and airy newly refurbished twin-bedded bothies with adjoining toilets, shower and wash-hand basins. Kitchenette equipped for light meals. Adjacent four-star hotel and self catering units are also available. Fully licensed village shop and coffee shop ten minutes walk from the farm.

Other facilities on the farm - Clay pigeon range and 20m indoor rifle range. For 2008- 60m x 30m all weather arena. Adjacent quad-bike trekking, canoeing, mountain bikes, sailing, windsurfing and fishing are also available. Approved member of BHSS Horses Welcome Scheme.

Situated overlooking beautiful Seacliff Beach, Patsi welcomes all levels of horses and riders to her lovely home. Five spacious loose boxes, turnout areas and sand arena with show jumps on hand. A novice cross country course is close by. With a lot of competition experience, Patsi is delighted to help with horse and rider up to Novice event level. Beach riding and trails through woods make wonderful hacking.

Accommodation for friends and family in her lovely house sleeps up to six in three bedrooms. Continental breakfast is provided. Golf courses, tennis, seabird centre and many places of historic interest including castles are close by. Also lots of good local restaurants to choose from!
